Dear Families, Are we seriously almost in the last week of September!?  Time flies when you're having fun with our peers and teachers!  October is soon upon us and there is so much we're looking forward to in and out of the classroom - Orange Shirt Day, Stone Soup Celebration, Thanksgiving, Halloween, and so much more!  Let's make next month just as special as this one :) Meet the Teacher Night: It was an absolute joy meeting and connecting with all the parents who were able to come meet me, see our classroom, and rejoice in all the wonderful new learning your child is partaking in thus far this school year!  I have every confidence that together we will continue meeting your child's academic, social, and behavioural needs.  Your support is greatly valued and cherished.  As shared previously, if at any time you wish to contact or set up a meeting with me, please do not hesitate to!  I can be reached via the agenda, phone call at the school (705. 445. 1827),

Dear Families, Another fun-filled week for us!  I am very pleased with how students have transitioned from their holidays to school mode!  As you’ve probably gathered from my blog updates, we have been go, Go, GO with our learning in class!  Look at how much we’ve accomplished in a mere 3 weeks!  Looking forward to much more learning to be done in the coming weeks.  Stay tuned! Our Trip to the G.N.E.: Today, my Grade 3/4 students and Ms. Stewart's class went to the G.N.E. to participate in a science and health related field trip. Every year, the G.N.E runs a very purposeful program for all students.  We got to be part of several amazing learning stations!  Please go through the photos and ask your child to explain what's happening in them :) Here are the Learning Stations We Visited in Sequence: 1. Sheep Shearing 2. Horses 3. Maple Syrup 4. Dairy Farmers 5. Motus - Story of Agriculture in Song 6. Community Garden 7. Rope Making 8. Forestry 9. S
